A story without parallel; born on the family dairy farm in Ellenburg Depot, a tiny town in northern New York that was closer to the Canadian border than it was to a record store. Working hard by day, and listening to the radio by night, more like how Bill Monroe or Woody Guthrie grew up than their peers today.
